Why is beeswax superior to soy?

Beeswax is the only wax that naturally emits negative ions when burned. These ions pull toxins, dust, and pollen out of the air—effectively purifying your space. Soy production is also one of the driving forces behind the deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest. While soy is often genetically modified and requires heavy processing, beeswax is a raw, renewable byproduct of the honey industry that burns longer, brighter, and cleaner.

Why Anti-Flock?

These cameras are clear overreach on our fourth amendment and have been implemented with our tax dollars without consent. They track each of us and will most likely be used in the future for pure data collection and sale. We donate a portion of our profits to people whom peacefully protest and want real change without taking it too far. Follow us on Instagram + FB to see where donations go!

When are donations paid out?

At the end of each month we break down the total amount of each candle sold then send the money to the respective non-profit organizations. We proudly support these non-profits.

Where do you source your wax?

We utilize 100% raw beeswax sourced exclusively from a Detroit, Michigan beekeeper with over 32 hives. Our beeswax supplier is a certified-biodynamic beekeeper that puts her bees first. By staying local, we ensure the highest purity and support the regional ecosystem that keeps our state blooming. Supporting the large number of urban farms, therefore promoting growth in local agriculture production.

When will I get my order?

We work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location. Generally your item will be shipped in no more than two business days.

Where are your products manufactured?

Every Foundry 1701 candle is hand-poured in small batches right here in Detroit, Michigan, ensuring artisanal quality and a human touch in every vessel.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase. All purchases over $50 will automatically get free shipping. Shipping will generally be right around $5 for all single candle purchases in the USA.

Are your scents safe for pets?

Yes. Because we use raw beeswax and paraben-free botanical oils, our candles offer a lung-safe burn. We avoid any synthetic fragrance chemicals that often cause distress for sensitive pets (and humans).
